Who Are We?

Celebration Dance is a faith based, non-competitive dance studio in the Green Bay and De Pere area. Our classes provide the highest quality of dance training placing emphasis on strong and careful technique in a caring, supportive, and God-centered environment. We strive for a loving and joy-filled culture that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk through our doors. We are a safe space and offer family friendly music and costumes, while still being innovative and relevant. Our recitals and storybook productions are a beautiful experience (and we try to keep them under 2 hours. Bonus!).

Classes Offered/ What To Expect In Class

Celebration Dance offers Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Musical Theater, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, and Children’s Dance classes.

Our classes are highly structured and centered around a syllabus with instruction in correct technique for each movement. This allows dancers to gain the strength in muscles needed for each movement and style, to understand the dance terminology, and to learn the movement in ways that can be built upon throughout their training years.

We hope to train strong dancers who love what they do.

We hope that they will discover their passion and experience the joy that can be found in commitment and hard work.

We strive to live by example and inspire students to kindness and respect.

We love the opportunity to provide mentorship to students and leadership opportunities for our teens.

Ages 7-9  -  $60 per costume

Ages 10 and up  -  $65 per costume

Costume fees will be posted to your account in November (spring recital) and must be paid within the week. Costumes will be purchased that same month in order to get them in time.

We ask that you take your dancer’s measurements and add them to your account, under your NOTES, by November 1st. Please measure carefully.

We’re sorry, but we are unable to exchange or return costumes.

We will need the waist, hip and girth measurement to get a correct costume fit. The girth measurement is taken from the top of the shoulder, down the front and around the crotch, coming up the back to meet at that same shoulder. It is a circular measurement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes our De Pere studio unique?

Our De Pere location is a smaller boutique studio offshoot of Celebration Dance - Green Bay. We currently offer a smaller selection of classes to our younger age groups, 3-10 year. Please see our current schedule at our website - celebrationdance.com.

We are located inside a stunning space called The Vault on Broadway in downtown De Pere. The Vault is a historic building overlooking the beautiful Fox River. It was the home of the National Bank of De Pere in 1904. With hardwood floors, gorgeous original tile-work, exposed brick walls, and large windows filling the space with natural light, our studio is a beautiful place to dance. It is not set up like our GB studios which are a more traditional dance studio space with mirrored walls and marley flooring. We plan to keep the historic charm of the De Pere space.

Please visit @celebrationdancegreenbay to see photos and videos of the space!

How long is the dance season?

We offer long term developmental programming and our dance season runs with the full school year. We’ll have a beautiful spring recital in May.

How do I register?

Can I try a class for free?

We’d love for you to come and try a class for free. As long as there is space available we can schedule a trial class during the month of October. You can email Abby at abby@celebrationdance.com to schedule.

Why is the age cut off set on October 1st?

Like the school system, we have learned that dancers learn best when they are grouped together with students at their same age level. It is also important (especially for our younger classes) that the class have a small age range. We have also learned that this helps all of our dancers have a successful recital.

Is there a recital?

YES! All students have the opportunity for a stage performance in our big season finale production which will be held May 10 - 12. Costumes for spring will be purchased in December. Dancers ages 3 - 6 will perform in 1 Saturday show. Dancers ages 7 and up will perform in at least 2 separate performances in our spring show.

Is there a costume fee? Recital fee?

Ages 3 - 6 - $55 per costume
Ages 7 - 9 - $60 per costume
Ages 10 and up - $65 per costume

- There are no recital fees.

What extra costs are there outside of tuition?

Extra costs will include Spring Recital tickets ($10-$15/ person), recital extras (dance props like a fan or a scarf), and any extra performances you’d like to attend.

Where can we wait during classes?

We ask that parents do not stay in the studio space during a dance class as our students work and focus much better that way.

We have a waiting room at the back of our studio though it is not very large. We are working on expanding our waiting room, but in the meantime, we ask that parents wait outside of the building whenever possible. We are close to many wonderful spots where you can hang out during class time!
